The DFW Gayla Prom is strongly committed to the safety of every attendee. We want to keep you, the parent, informed of what goes on and what we do to protect your child.
1. All prom attendees MUST show a photo ID to gain admittance.
2. Gayla Prom holds a strict zero tolerance policy on drug and alcohol use.
3. All volunteers are screened with a background check and attend a mandatory volunteer orientation prior to the start of Prom.
4. Two SMU security officer will be present during the duration of the event
5. Parents are welcome to come in during the prom. If you have questions feel free to ask to speak with the Committee Chair at the check desk.
6. We do not allow in and outs. Once attendees enter the prom if they leave they are not allowed back in
